Not allowing the pandemic to slow them down, Cypress Commercial & Investment Real Estate, a leading brokerage firm representing
buyers and sellers of investment real estate, announces a record year for 2021 with 37 real estate
transactions representing a total value of more than $46 million, a 100% increase over 2020.
The 37 transactions for 2021 represent a more than 40% increase over the 26 transactions
for 2020 with a total value of $23 million.

The year’s closings included 18 single-tenant triple net income property transactions,
seven multi-tenant income property transactions and a mix of retail, office, multifamily and
general commercial properties.
Columbia-based Cypress Commercial & Investment Real Estate specializes in the sale of
single-tenant net-leased properties and multi-tenant investments and general commercial
properties, including 1031 exchange properties, with a strong emphasis on the Carolinas and the
Eastern Seaboard.
Notable investment transactions for 2021 included:
• The IHOP restaurant on Assembly Street.
• Multiple Dollar General Stores in the Southeast.
• Other tenants including Pizza Hut, Brakes 4 Less, Take 5 Oil Change,
and Advance Auto.
• Several Office Building and Industrial Investments.
• Multi-Family Apartment Complexes.
Cypress also brokered the sale of the former Sun News newspaper building in Myrtle
Beach.
