Tyler is co-founder of Cypress Real Estate Partners, LLC and Capital Development Partners, LLC. He has close to thirty years of commercial real estate experience and is skilled in developing and selling net lease retail properties in the Carolinas and across the Eastern Seaboard.

A former partner and principal at Colliers International, Tyler has developed in excess of 100 properties and sold, for his account and third party clients, in seven states with an aggregate value in excess of $400 million dollars. He specializes in development for single-tenant net lease properties with clients including Advance Auto, Dollar General, Bojangles, Doctor’s Care and BI-LO. He is a graduate of Colgate University and Harvard Business School.

Tyler is also active in many community causes. He currently serves on the Executive Committee and Advisory Board of the Salvation Army of the Midlands and is a past participant in the Parents’ Advisory Councils with the University of the South and Vanderbilt University. He is a former board member of Heathwood Hall Episcopal School. When he’s not developing properties, Tyler enjoys spending time with his wife Ellen and their three grown children, traveling with family and friends, running and playing golf.

Active in the commercial real estate industry for more than 25 years, Mark is co-founder of Cypress Real Estate Partners, LLC and Capital Development Partners, LLC. His role at Cypress focuses on commercial real estate development and asset management.

Before founding Cypress, Mark worked in corporate real estate at Flagstar Companies, McDonald’s restaurants and BI-LO Supermarkets, where he built a reputation of professionalism based on his attention to details and his skill in completing projects on-time and on-budget. He is a graduate of Wofford College and a native of Columbia, SC.

Very active in his community, Mark is currently the Vice President of the Trinity Episcopal Cathedral Foundation, Treasurer of the Shine A Light Foundation and a board member of Still Hopes Episcopal Retirement Community. He has also served as Chairman of the Columbia Planning Commission and was the Founding Chair of the Greater Columbia Association of Realtors Commercial Investment Division. A past Senior Warden of Trinity Episcopal Cathedral, he has been a board member of the Girl Scouts of South Carolina, Palmetto Health Children’s Hospital and Trinity Episcopal Cathedral Vestry.

Mark and his wife Mills have three children and in his free time, he enjoys golf, running and travel.

James is a partner and broker-in-charge at Cypress Real Estate Partners, LLC, with more than 20 years of experience in commercial real estate. Previously with NAI Avant for 15 years, James focuses on NNN investment properties and general commercial real estate, which includes retail, office and industrial properties. James assists many different buyers and sellers who may become involved in 1031 exchanges, all cash investing or placement of debt and leveraging investments. James has extensive experience in multi and single tenant NNN investment real estate acquisition and disposition of assets and specializes in helping all buyers and sellers meet their real estate needs. In addition, he has a strong local and regional knowledge in the Carolinas combined with experience and expertise in all facets of commercial real properties. James also can work with clients on restructuring retail leases with the intent of asset disposition, investment portfolio analysis and restructuring.

Over the span of his career James has brokered in excess of $200 million dollars of investment NNN deals for national, regional and local clients. Single and multi-tenant NNN deals have included Dollar General (over 50 stores), Advance Auto, Goodyear Tire, Wells Fargo, Aaron’s Rental, Tire Kingdom, Food Lion Centers, Lowes Foods, Wendy’s, CVS, Family Dollar, Blockbuster, O-Reilly’s Auto Parts, BI-LO, Westinghouse Corp., AutoZone, Cingular Wireless, Rite-Aid, Clear Mountain Spring Water and Swanson Foods.

James was awarded the prestigious CCIM commercial real estate designation (http://www.ccim.com/). He served as President of the South Carolina CCIM chapter in 2007 and continues to serve on the organization’s state board. He has won the Greater Columbia Association of Realtors gold level commercial circle of excellence award for three consecutive years and been awarded the bronze award five times. James is a South Carolina native and a graduate of the College of Charleston.

His community involvement includes membership in the Leadership Columbia Class of 2000 and serving on the Leadership Columbia Board from 2000 to 2002. He is currently on the City of Columbia Development Corporation Board, is a past member and volunteer for the Red Cross Development Committee, a former volunteer head coach for the Palmetto Baseball League and YMCA Soccer and has served on the Heathwood Hall Episcopal School Alumni Council.

James and his wife Meg have two children and live in Columbia, SC, where they are active members of Shandon United Methodist Church. In his spare time he enjoys playing golf and hunting.

Active in commercial real estate for almost five years, Carter began working with Cypress as an intern, working on development projects and investment brokerage services. He quickly developed the skills and strengths he uses today to help clients meet their goals in income investment real estate, including single and multi tenant retail, industrial, and office properties.

A native of Charlotte, NC, Carter has lived and worked in Columbia, SC for the past six years. He graduated from the Darla Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina, where he received the Woodrow Scholarship all four years of his undergraduate studies. He is a member of the Alpha Lambda Delta Business Fraternity, the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, the Delta Chapter of Sigma Nu Fraternity.

His community involvement includes participating in local philanthropic events, including those to benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and the Marcus Lattimore Foundation. He enjoys playing golf and basketball, hunting, and traveling with family and friends.

Bailey Dolge

Bailey is the Real Estate Services Administrator for Cypress, where she uses her skills in graphic design and marketing along with her background in banking, rebranding, broadcast and print media to strengthen our communications efforts and build client relationships. Her experience includes raising funds for comprehensive capital campaigns, developing business plans and promoting events.

A native of Columbia, SC, Bailey attended Newberry College, where she was a recipient of the South Carolina LIFE and Newberry Scholarship for all four of her undergraduate years. Also while at Newberry, she was named to the Dean’s List and was a Kappa Delta Sorority Panhellenic Council Officer.

Bailey is involved in community causes centered on youth and children, which include mentoring through Girl Scouts of America and raising funds for Prevent Child Abuse America. She also enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends.
